Architecture, archaeology and continuing use
The rubble front has painted joints and contrasting concrete dressings. Canted ground-floor windows support dormers above, while sidelights broaden the panelled central entrance beneath its cornice.
Its story
The house was built after the 1904 Ordnance Survey, during a period when Portknockie’s later streets gained larger and more decorative homes than the old low seatown cottages.
