Architecture, archaeology and continuing use
The three-bay rubble frontage centres on a hoodmoulded door with a cushioned cross-rail. Segmental-headed paired windows sit below angled dormers, while shaped bargeboards, finials and a coloured ridge crown the slate roof.
Its story
The house was built around 1910 on the route associated with railway-era expansion. Its concentrated ornament shows how standard local forms could be individualised late in the town’s growth.

Category B listing recognises an unusually complete ensemble of joinery, roof decoration and varied window shapes.
