Architecture, archaeology and continuing use
A tall four-centred entrance arch links square two-storey towers through curved single-storey ranges. Gabled dormers line the courtyard wings, while a roofed bellcote and matching dovecot tower distinguish opposite sides.
Its story
The complex was built in 1868 for Edward and Phoebe Dunbar Dunbar, whose initials appear on the entrance front. It combined stabling, carriage storage and estate symbolism in one enclosed court.
Why it is included
Category B listing recognises a complete and highly decorative service complex integral to the Sea Park estate.
